Welcome to Lillypads Rainforest House. Let yourself discover the peace and serenity that encompasses this unique holiday home. This property is surrounded by virgin tropical rainforest bordered by the pristine Wilfox freshwater stream. Perhaps picnic on the grassy knoll leading down the cool stream after a leisurely stroll through the rainforest walking tracks. Find yourself in the body temple set under the bamboo forest to replace balance and harmony to your body and mind with Holly, our in house masseur. Or if you prefer just relax in the hammocks and drift away to the sounds of the stream trickling over the rocks.
There is an 11 metre pool to cool off with floating sundecks overlooking flowering lily ponds to relax and recharge. Take your pick of exotic fruits dotted around the property including wild strawberries, bananas, paw paw, kaffir limes, pandan leaf, but you will have to be quick before the local Cassowary's get to them. Garnish your dish with freshly picked herbs from the garden or grab an egg or 2 from the hen house and enjoy the flavour of fresh farm hen eggs.
The house has everything you could wish for from the wood fired pizza oven (you can even cook a mouth watering roast or perhaps have a try cooking your own wood fired bread) to the fully screened open bath looking out into the garden. The property flows from the kitchen past the baby grand piano for music lovers out to the large dining area and relaxation zone. Offering two air-conditioned queen bedrooms, one ensuited with another single bedroom and second bathroom, there is room for two couples or the whole family.
Lillypads Rainforest House is only 2 — 3 minutes drive to the beach or Mission Beach Shopping Village.
